Van Der Wiel Enters Talks With AC Milan

Ajax full-back, Gregory Van der Wiel is in talks with Ac Milan, leaving Chelsea unlikely to get their man.

Van Der Wiel, 23, is one of the most promising full-backs in Europe and has attracted interest from Manchester United and Barcelona.

He came to prominence during last year’s World Cup for Holland and has followed that with outstanding performances this season.

Chelsea hoped to sign the Dutchman as a replacement for Jose Bosingwa who is out of contract in the Summer and will not be offered a new deal.

This may now change as AC Milan have held talks with Ajax and are in negotiations with the player’s representatives.

Ajax will be hoping Roman Abramovich will spark a bidding war with the Italian giants.
