Milan eyeing cut-price move for Chelsea's Jose Bosingwa

Serie A leaders AC Milan are interested in signing Chelsea right-back Jose Bosingwa in a bargain January deal, according to The Daily Mail.

The Premier League leaders have been made aware of Milan's interest and are considering letting him leave Stamford Bridge as he has just six months remaining on his current deal.

Milan think that they can get him on the cheap because he only has six months left on his existing deal and Chelsea could risk losing him in the summer for nothing.

The 28-year-old Portugal international cost Chelsea £16.2 million in 2008 when they signed him from Porto but he has seen his stock fall after returning from long-term injury.

Both Bosingwa and fellow Portuguese right back Paulo Ferreira have failed to convince Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti, so much so that the Italian has played centreback Branislav Ivanovic in the problem position.
