Milan sign Didac Vila
DIDAC VILA has joined Milan.
AC Milan have confirmed the signing of RCD Espanyol left-back Didac Vila today through a statement on their official website.
Milan searched for a left-back who can play in the Champions League and add depth to the squad, following the injury of Gianluca Zambrotta.
According to reports, the Catalan-born was pretty cheap (€3 million). He made 13 appearances this term mostly as a starter.
A starting sport is not guaranteed for Vila, who used to play for Spain’s youth teams, the player is promising and is bought for the future.
Just like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Urby Emanuelson and Mark van Bommel, Didac Vila is represented by the agent Mino Raiola.
A statement on acmilan.com confirmed the move:“AC Milan announces that it has acquired from RCD Espanyol, the player Didac Vila. After passing the medical examinations the defender will sign a contract until June 30, 2015.”
