Ganso’s representatives meet with Milan to discuss transfer
Representatives of Santos midfielder Ganso have met with officials of Italian giants Milan on Wednesday, according to latest emanating reports in the Italian media.
SkySport 24 claims that the 21-year-old’s brother and representatives of the two companies that own the player's rights were engaged with Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani and sporting director Ariedo Braida on Wednesday in a meeting that lasted around one and a half hour.
This comes just a day after the Brazilian admitted that he wants to play in Serie A, enthusing: "I hope to come to Italy sooner or later, as it would be my dream. I have thought about such a move since the start of my career.”
Milan’s city-rivals Inter too are said to be keen on the highly rated attacker but the Diavolo’s centre-back Thiago Silvarecently suggested that Ganso will join Inter because of their coach and compatriot Leonardo, who “always has the right words" and has experience bringing in top players from South America.
Ganso developed at the youth academy of Santos and was introduced to the club's first team in 2008. His contract is said to be worth €35 million.
