AC Milan chief Galliani: We had a deal for Lyon keeper Lloris

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed Olympique Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris should already be their player.

The France No1 is regarded as the best young goalkeeping prospect in Europe.

Galliani admitted: "Lloris was practically ours in the summer of 2008. We had already reached an agreement with him and his agent.

"But Christian Abbiati refused to move to Palermo and this wrecked the deal."
