Pirlo ready to play out career with AC Milan

Andrea Pirlo says he'd be happy to play out his career at AC Milan.

The midfielder also admits they've thrown away any chance of competing for the Scudetto in the closing weeks of the season.Pirlo

"I have a contract with Milan and I hope to end my playing days here," said Pirlo.

"The Scudetto is over. There's too many points to make up and not enough games to do so. We've thrown away too many points in the final moments of games, otherwise we would now be competing for the title."
