Real Madrid Make Offer To Milan For Defender Thiago Silva

According to reports coming out of Spain, Real Madrid have proposed an offer for Milan defender Thiago Silva.

Marca are reporting that the Spanish giants are willing to offer €20 million plus attacking midfielder Rafael Van der Vaart for the Brazilian stopper.

The Rossoneri management have put on a €30m price tag on their star defender, and are reluctant to sell him.

New Blancos coach Jose Mourinho is fond of the centre-back, and has recently stated that he wishes to bring another world-class defender to Madrid.

The former Ajax and Hamburg player has failed to find continuity since his transfer to the side in 2008.
