Milan Set Sights On Cagliari Midfielder Lazzari

Allegri has asked the club to build a transfer supply line for Cagliari midfielder Andrea Lazzari.

The Rossoneri have already opened dialogue with the Isolani for Alessandro Matri, and are using those talks as a chance to provide portage for Lazzari.

Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Allegri would be more than delighted to be re-united with his former pupil. He wants the midfielder to add strength to the flanks of the team.

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is expected to survey the ground in Sardinia, and getting hands on 25-year-old Lazzari will be critical.

He has played little mainly because of injuries, but president Massimo Cellino is expected to cut off and defeat Milan's transfer forces, making a move difficult.

Jan Vertonghen and Gregory van der Wiel have also been linked with Milan, but at €20 million each, it's unlikely those will take off in January.
