Rino and Zambrotta Out of Roma Clash

It has been confirmed that both Gattuso and Zambrotta will be sidelined for the last match of the year against Roma on Saturday evening.

Both sustained knocks in Milan's last clash against Bologna and were substitiuted in the second half. MilanLab has confirmed that they will need around 10-15 days rest to recover from their injuries.

An official statement on Acmilan.com read :

“The official in charge of health at AC Milan, doctor Gianluca Melegati, announces that Gennaro Gattuso submitted to imaging scans today that showed a mild strain of the satorius muscle of the right thigh. His recovery time is estimated to be 7-10 days.

“Gianluca Zambrotta, during the match yesterday, suffered a lateral stretch to the posterior capsule in his left knee. Tests have ruled out ligament and meniscus tears and the expected recovery is around 10-15 days.”

It is expected that Antonini will play instead of Zambrotta, and Boateng brought back to help out in midfield, whilst either Seedorf or Dinho will play behind the strikers.
