Kaladze hopes to stay at Milan
AC Milan defender Kakha Kaladze has reiterated his desire to stay at the San Siro ahead of the new season, ruling out a move to either Monaco or Parma.
The Georgia skipper was reportedly involved in a verbal dispute with Adriano Galliani as Milan's vice-president met with Monaco representatives regarding a move for defender Cedric Mongongu.
The 32-year-old denied he wanted to be any part of a makeweight in a deal for the talented 21-year-old.
Kaladze told Corriere della Sera: "It's not true that I refused to move (to Monaco) and it's also not true that I had an argument with Galliani."
The versatile stopper, who only featured sparingly last season for the Serie A side having suffered a knee ligament injury, has also ruled out a move to rivals Parma claiming that the club "cannot guarantee certain engagements."
Kaladze has also denied that he is set for a move back to Ukraine with his former club Dinamo Kiev.
He said: "I have not met any representatives from Dinamo Kiev.
"Maybe AC Milan did, but nobody has said anything to me. I have no problems leaving Milan, but the destination must be to my liking, otherwise I will remain at the San Siro for another year."
Kaladze admits that he has had offers from rival clubs in Italy, but has always remained faithful to the Rossoneri.
"I signed a new contract with Milan back in 2006 and I never asked for an extension," he continued.
"Last year I could have gone to Fiorentina or Roma, but Galliani and Leonardo (former AC Milan manager) asked me to stay, so I did."
