Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri Likes Lazio's Cristian Ledesma
Cristian Ledesma's agent Vincenzo D'Ippolito has revealed Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is interested in his client, but was unable to say whether he will head north.
"Milan on Ledesma? Not that I am aware. He is a player who is liked by Allegri, but I don't know if Milan are interested," the agent told Milannews.it.
Reports in Il Corriere dello Sport claimed Ledesma would head to Milan in place of Andrea Pirlo with the Italian playing further forward as a playmaker.
"We will see. I have not heard from anyone at Milan. Last year there was an interest, but nothing more," he added.
"I know he is liked by Allegri, but Ledesma also has a contract at Lazio and he wants to respect this. Edy Reja is also reliant upon him."
