Milan Don't Need More Players Because We Have Ronaldinho - Gianluca Zambrotta
Milan defender Gianluca Zambrotta feels the club doesn't need to invest any further in the transfer market because they have Ronaldinho.
The Brazilian ace has been tipped to sign a renewal with the club until 2014 as negotiations between his agent brother Roberto de Assis and club chief Adriano Galliani progress.
And Zambrotta is hopeful Ronaldinho will deliver on his pledge of bringing the glory days back to San Siro.
"Ronaldinho is very important and it's fundamental that he works well and helps us win games. He can also play as a trequartista as he has the qualities," Zambrotta told the press.
"I don't think we need to buy as Milan are already competitive like this."
The aim is to reduce the gap with Inter, who are the standard bearers in Serie A. But Zambrotta feels Roma and Juventus also represent the touchstone with which his side will be measured.
"I think Inter are still the strongest team around at the moment, but alongside us Roma and Juventus will also be on their shoulders," he concluded.
