Milan Look At Cagliari's Andrea Lazzari As Alternative To Gennaro Gattuso
Milan have started to look at alternatives to Gennaro Gattuso, who is expected to meet the club over his future on Sunday.
The Italian midfielder has been tipped to leave and join either Olympiacos or Al-Ahli as voices grow louder regarding an exit.
Tuttomercatoweb.com reports Gattuso as having fixed a meeting with Rossoneri chiefs for the weekend in which his future will become clearer.
And, with an exit looming, his agent Andrea D'Amico has been listening to offers from abroad. Milannnews.it claims coach Massimiliano Allegri has informed the club he intends to whip a move into line for Cagliari's Andrea Lazzarri, with whom he worked last term in Sardinia.
However, should that move prove groundless, Allegri will promote youth team midfielder Rodney Strasser of Sierra Leone to the senior squad.
