Milan eye Japan’s skillful attacking midfielder
KUISUKE HONDA has been targeted by AC Milan.
AC Milan are planning some changes in formation next season – most likely one is 4-3-1-2. New Boss Massimiliano Allegri is apparently looking for an attacking midfielder behind the strikers and he has made Honda an option.
The 24-year-old, who landed in CSKA Moscow only in January 2010, has had a wonderful World Cup with Japan, as he was one of the main factors of his side advance to the eight-final stage – where they lost 5-3 in pens to Paraguay.
The attacking midfielder, who can play also as a second striker, is a free-kick maestro. Ronaldinho and Andrea Pirlo not as sharp as they used to be and the Rossoneri would be interested in someone who can score from long distances.
Things like Honda’s price-tag and whether the Russian side would want to sell him or not, are still unknown; however, if they decide to sell him this summer, it won’t be cheap at all.
