Milan reveal Palermo approach for Darmian

AC Milan have confirmed Palermo interest in Matteo Darmian.

Milan chief Adrian Galliani says they've fielded an approach from Palermo for the youngster.

"There is a discussion with Palermo," says Galliani, "but to date nothing definite. Can he play at centre-back? I do not want to be a coach, but I can say that there was some contact with the Rosanero.

"However, I would not say he was a step away from Palermo."

Darmian could move to Palermo as a replacement for new Wolfsburg signing Simon Kjaer.
