Sunderland are making a shock move for AC Milan sensation Dominic Adiyiah.

The 20 year-old Ghana striker is keen on a loan move to the Black Cats.

New Milan coach Max Allegri has made it clear he is willing to farm Adiyiah out on a season-long loan.

The Evening Chronicle says sources in Italy suggest the player – who will have had favourable reports about Wearside from fellow countryman John Mensah – would consider joining Sunderland.
