Zambrotta inks new AC Milan contract

AC Milan have secured Gianluca Zambrotta to a new contract.

Zambrotta's new deal now runs to 2012.

Veteran goalkeeper Christian Abbiati signed a new deal on Monday, which will keep him at San Siro until 2013.

Massimo Oddo joined him on Wednesday. The former Lazio full-back’s contract was due to expire at the end of next season.

He will now be a Milan player until June 2012.

Zambrotta was the next in line for an extension, as his existing deal was also set to come to an end next summer.
