Alexandre Pato is not for sale - Adriano Galliani warns Chelsea

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has eased the tension surrounding Alexandre Pato's future by claiming he will stay at the club because "he is not for sale at any price."

Pato said he was unsure over his future at the club on Wednesday, leading the media to question his commitment to the Rossoneri cause. But the Brazilian back-tracked on his statement this morning, claiming he wanted to stay.

And Galliani has driven the message home, insisting they will not sell the hitman.

"Pato? He has a deal until 2014 and he will stay at Milan. I don't know what he said yesterday [Wednesday], but he is absolutely not for sale at any price," Galliani told the press outside the Lega Calcio offices in Milan following a meeting between club chiefs.

The Italian confirmed Massimiliano Allegri will be the club's new coach, but only when Cagliari loosen their grip on him.

Allegri is still under contract in Sardinia, and the Rossoneri are working to set him free so he can join them.

"When and if he becomes free our new coach will certainly be Allegri."
