Astori: Co-ownership renewal possible
There were reports that believed the move of the 23-year-old, who has grown in Milan youth department, but spent the last couple of seasons at Cagliari on co-ownership, is already done.
It seemed that Milan would wanted to pay Cagliari €3.5 million for the rest 50 per cent of Astori, but according to SKY Sport Italia, the Rossoneri appear to intend to renew the co-ownership between the parties for another year.
In the season that after the upcoming one, it will be more likely that Astori will get regular playing time, as the veterans center-backs will leave for sure (if Milan don’t convince him to leave this summer), while Alessandro Nesta won’t be able to play in top levels anymore.
At first, it seemed that Milan would have to sacrifice Astori in order to get former Cagliari Boss Massimiliano Allegri. However, it now seems that the Rossoneri are going to sign also the youngster (next season) and maybe even midfielder Andrea Lazzari in this transfer market, from the Isolani.
