Gazprom to buy 30-40% of Milan
GAZPROM will be the new partners of the Rossoneri, as reported.
There were rumors the Russian Oil and Natural Gas Company will join Silvio Berlusconi in the owner sit and today, few experts in Italy have told Gazprom are expected to arrive to Milan in January 2011.
It is said that Gazprom will buy 30-40 per cent from the stakes of AC Milan (a figure close to €300 million). As a first step, they will fund the expenses of the new-planned stadium of the Rossoneri.
A new stadium will increase the profits of the Rossoneri, as the Stadio San Siro is already old and uncomfortable.
The Russian government (led by Vladimir Putin) controls Gazprom and it was said before that Italy Prime Minister and Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi met in order to discuss the entry of Gazprom to Milan.
Previous reports regarding Gazprom or any other sell of stakes were soon denied by the family of Berlusconi
