Italy midfielder Gennaro Gattuso hints at AC Milan exit
AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso has hinted that he could leave the club upon his return from the World Cup because he doesn't want to endure another aimless season.
Gattuso feels everything needs to feel right for him to excel, but with Milan still to announce their new coach he feels more troubles are on the horizon following a trophyless campaign.
"If I do something I want to do it with enthusiasm, otherwise I will become a normal player, a third category player," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"And, if I talk about passion then last season did not go well for me. I still have two years on my contract, but it's not about the money."
Gattuso has been at the club since 2001 and is currently involved at the World Cup with Italy. Reports around the peninsula claim he could be prompted to look for a new adventure elsewhere.
