Milan Offer Benfica Sporting Director Manuel Rui Costa Staff Role

Milan have offered a staff role to Benfica's sporting director Manuel Rui Costa, according to news dailyRecord.

The offer was reportedly made by club CEO Adriano Galliani during the charity match between former Milan and Real Madrid players at the Santiago Bernabeu last Sunday.

Rui Costa, who retired from football in 2008, holds legendary status at the San Siro after representing the Rossoneri from 2001 to 2006.

Record further claims that Rui Costa and Galliani also spoke of possible player swaps between Benfica and Milan amidst reports the Italian giants are keeping an eye on David Luiz and Madrid target Angel di Maria.
