Milan Working To Keep Inter Winger Amantino Mancini
Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is looking into keeping Amantino Mancini on loan for another season, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Rossoneri were reluctant to exercise their option to buy half of his rights from Inter for a fee believed to be €3.7 million.
However, Galliani is ready to boost the club's hopes of keeping the Brazilian by approaching Inter with a proposal to extend the loan deal.
Mancini was peripheral to requirements at Inter and arrived on loan in February, but he failed to enjoy the impact expected of him under former coach Leonardo.
His contract at Inter expires in 2012, but returning there is unlikely as Rafael Benitez sees him as extra to requirements next season. Thus a Milan stay looks increasingly likely.
