Silva Wants Milan Stay
AC Milan defender Thiago Silva has reiterated his desire to continue plying his trade with the Serie A giants.
The 25-year-old defender has been a big hit for the Rossoneri since completing a €10 million switch from Fluminense, having earned a place in the Selecao's World Cup squad.
Silva's performances have not gone unnoticed in Europe, with Manchester City reportedly interested in tabling a bid in the excess of €30m.
However, the former Porto player has declared that the Citizens will have to shop elsewhere as he plans to stay at Milan for years to come.
"Me at City? Well, I have read something about it. It is nice to know that there are coaches who appreciate your work and clubs willing to spend a lot of money on you, but I have other ideas for my future," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"In fact, I have a message for Milan: I am ready to stay a Rossoneri until I am 40 years old. I want to stay with Milan and I want to win."
