AC Milan know Wolfsburg asking price for Dzeko

Wolfsburg have slapped a €40 million price-tag on Edin Dzeko.

The Bosnia international striker has expressed hopes of moving to AC Milan.

Wolfsburg chief Dieter Hoeness said: "According to the contract the player has until May 31 to decide, but both sides want to clarify first, if possible in March. It's good to know that we are not obligated to sell a player like this, unless someone offers 40 million.

"If a team is ready to shell out this amount for him, they must give bank guarantees and at that point Dzeko will go away."
