AC Milan quietly confident Pato will make Man Utd trip

AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato has avoided serious damage to a thigh injury suffered in the win against Atalanta.

Pato will definitely miss this weekend's clash againstRoma, but there's hope that he will be fit for the Champions League second-leg at Manchester United.

Last night Milan’s official website confirmed medical tests found “no real lesions in the thigh muscle.

“There is a distraction of the right femoral bicep.”
