AC Milan defender Nesta confident of quick recovery from surgery

AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta is confident of a full recovery from knee surgery.

The 33-year-old went under the knife on Monday to repair a tendon in his right knee.

“Before the operation we thought it would be difficult for me to return before the end of the championship,” Nesta admitted. “Instead, during the operation we have seen that there was still a piece of tendon attached, so the absence should be shorter.
