Galliani again admits AC Milan keen on Roma’s Baptista

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has again admitted their interest in Roma midfielder Julio Baptista.

The Brazil international is expected to be a summer target for the Rossoneri.

Galliani revealed he attempted to sign Baptista from Real Madrid: "I spent two days with (ex-Real director Predrag) Mijatovic to take Baptista and made him an offer, they rejected it. But then they offered him to us, but we had other operations.

"Baptista is a player I like and also I know Rosella Sensi. He seems a versatile player: can play as a central midfielder, a playmaker and also flanker."
