Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos linked with AC Milan move

Spanish newspaper AS speculates today that Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos could be set for a summer move to AC Milan .

Ramos, who can play right back or in the centre, travelled to Milan last Monday for a lightning visit and ate in a restaurant that is often frequented by AC Milan players.

The Spanish international turned 24 yesterday and currently has a contract until 2012/2013 worth 2.5 million euros a season.

This deal has been improved verbally by Real Madrid in a contract until 2017 with a salary starting at four million euros and ending at six, but Ramos has yet to sign this.

AC Milan are expected to significantly improve their defence in the summer to provide some young legs to play alongside Brazilian Thiago Silva .
