AC Milan No2 Tassotti: Leonardo will make decision public next week

AC Milan No2 Mauro Tassotti expects to know Leonardo's decision over his future by next week.

Tassotti is among the favourites to succeed Leonardo having worked under him and his predecessor Carlo Ancelotti.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Tassotti said: “I don't know what Leo's decision will be, but let's wait a week.

“At that point everything will be explained. Right now there is no hurry.”

When asked if he would consider stepping into Leonardo's shoes, Tassotti said: “Who wouldn't like to train Milan?

“Trainers who don't have their coaching badges dream about it, as do those who have it and have been at this club for 30 years.

“I have been here for 30 years and my relationship with this club will not change.”
