Adriano Galliani Negotiating With Sevilla Over Luis Fabiano Transfer
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is set for talks with Sevilla over the transfer of striker Luis Fabiano, according to reports.
Galliani is in Madrid for this evening's charity match featuring greats from the glittering history of both Real and Milan, and is looking to conduct business while in the city before opening discussions with Sevilla.
Football Italia states that Galliani has drawn up a shortlist of other potential signings, with the Real Madrid trio of Royston Drenthe, Rafael van der Vaart, and Fernando Gago thought to be coveted by the Italian giants.
Galliani will look to conclude a deal for the 30-year-old Fabiano while in Spain, with the Brazilian currently with his international teammates prior to their opening World Cup match against North Korea on 15 June.
Sevilla value Fabiano in the region of €20m, and although the clubs could not agree terms last summer, it is thought that the transfer could be finalised within the next few days.
The Rossoneri are also reported to be interested in Benfica central defender David Luiz, but face competition from Manchester City and Real Madrid to secure his signature.
