Berlusconi keen as Chelsea plan €80M bid for AC Milan pair Pato, Thiago Silva

Chelsea are ready to splash out for AC Milan pair Thiago Silva and Alexandre Pato.

Corriere dello Sport says Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to sign both Brazil internationals this summer and is willing to offer €80 million for the pair.

Striker Pato has endured an injury-riddled campaign this season, while Thiago has been one of the few success stories for Milan.

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is open to the offer as he is keen to drive down costs at the club after another disappointing Champions League run.  Chelsea's offer is expected to arrive next week.
