Galliani says Milan Have Not Made A Decision Yet Regarding Massimiliano Allegri
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has told the press that the Serie A giants are making no hasty decisions when it comes to appointing their new coach after the departure of Leonardo.
Former Cagliari boss Massimiliano Allegri seems to be the favourite for the job, but Galliani insists that no deals have been finalised yet.
"Sure Allegri is a candidate, but no official decision has been taken," he was quoted as saying by La Repubblica.
Meanwhile, he also denied that current Italy bossMarcello Lippi is in a line to take a role with the club as technical director, calling the rumours categorically unfounded.
The other candidates for the vacant Rossoneri post appear to be Mauro Tassotti and youth-team boss Filippo Galli.
Milan finished third in Serie A in the 2009-10 campaign, behind champions Inter and runners-up Roma in the standings.
