Pato's Recovery Remains On Schedule

Milan have confirmed Alexandre Pato's recovery is going as planned and the player should be back in action in January. The Brazilian has been sidelined since suffered a left hamstring injury in the 3-1 win over Palermo on November 10.

"The head of health at AC Milan, Dr. Gianluca Melegati, communicated that Alexandre Pato, after his initial stage of recovery at the physiotherapy clinic, now continues his rehabilitation facing a new phase of functional recovery at Milanello," read a statement on the club's official website.

"His progress is steady and going smoothly in line with the agreed deadlines."

The player will likely return to the pitch after the holidays. Pato has six goals this season in Serie A, but has only made eight appearances after being held back by injuries, resulting in a significant dip in the Castrol Rankings last month.

The Rossoneri will be glad when the 21-year-old returns to action as team-mate Filippo Inzaghi has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
