Ronaldinho may get the nod and the wink from coach Massimiliano Allegri when Milan clash with Sampdoria on Saturday night.

It seems his stunning strike against Auxerre in the Champions League has acted as the billboard for the boss whose faith in the Brazilian is growing.

Ronaldinho came on towards the game's finale on Tuesday night, but his presence was menacing as he helped seal the win, as well as sealing progress to the last 16.

And with Milan fighting to maintain their pace at the top, Allegri knows the Brazilian is fundamental for survival.
