Abbiati Facing Four Week Spell On The Sidelines
Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati could miss a month of action, according to MilanNews.
The 33-year-old is suspected to have sustained a lesion to the adductor muscle of his right leg and should that diagnosis be confirmed will miss approximately 30 days of action. The shot-stopper would miss the Serie A clash with Juventus and Champions League fixture at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid.
Abbiati has been the Rossoneri's undisputed first choice 'keeper this season, keeping four clean sheets in eight appearances in all competitions.
Marco Amelia is ready to step in to fill the gap in his absence.
Milan will not be in action again until October 16 against Chievo Verona, following the international break.
