Milan in talks for River Plate youngster
ROGELIO FUNES MORI’S representative will hold talks with AC Milan about a possible move.
Funes Mori’s agent, Lucas Bernasconi, is in Italy, to discus with several teams, including Milan, on the availability of seeing the 19-year-old striker switching to the peninsula.
The starlet has attracted the interest of many clubs in the world, and the Rossoneri will be trying to put their hands on the promising Argentine, who scored once a hat-trick in 21 minutes (it happened after an 11-match drought).
The meeting between Adriano Galliani and Bernasconi will be held in Florence. The agent is in Italy until October 10 and he will speak with AC Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio and Juventus, before heading to Germany for another series of talks.
However, the releasing clause of Funes Mori is around €25 million and he has a long-term contract with River Plate. River President Daniel Passarella will not be interested in selling his raising star in January and would like to wait and see what happens in June.
